These days, there are so many NDE (Near Death Experience) accounts that it’s difficult to refute the proof.
This tale will have you considering what happens to the soul after death, whether or not you believe in the afterlife.
A semi-truck and Valerie Paters were involved in a tragic vehicle accident. She suffered serious injuries as her car was actually crushed under the large vehicle.
The first responders didn’t think Valerie would survive when they got to the scene of the collision.
The likelihood of her surviving when she got to the hospital was slim.
They didn’t hold out much hope that she would live to see another day. Later, she exhibited no signs of cerebral activity.
The congregation of the church Valerie attended, together with her family, came together to pray for poor Valerie while the doctors tried everything they could to keep her alive.
Valerie’s sister Cheryl never gave up. In prayer for her sister’s survival, she turned to God.
For her sister, Cheryl cited Psalm 118:17, which states, “I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the LORD has done.” She was unaware that her prayers could do miracles.
The majority of NDE accounts mention a brilliant light. Valerie also did. She stated that while they were holding out for her to get well, she had gone to Heaven, where Jesus had smiled and welcomed her.
“I felt all this emotion that he had for me,” she recalled. “I felt like I was finally home… like I stepped into, finally, I belong.”
“He just wants me,” she said of Jesus. “It wasn’t anything that I did for Him. It wasn’t my performance. Nothing. It was just me, I wasn’t just loved by Him. But He was in love with me.”
The media outlets were highly interested in her story and contacted her for an interview where she went into great depth about her experience.
