Jessica Gagen experienced peer bullying throughout the entirety of her childhood.
When she was a little child, she was taunted for having red hair and was frequently labeled ugly.
However, in the long run, she received justice in a way that has inspired people all over the world.
Look at this wonderful young lady, just crowned Miss England and awarded the nation’s most attractive girl…
Being rude to people on a regular basis is wrong. Instead of being hostile, one should treat everyone with warmth and compassion.
It’s sad that the news occasionally features stories about how certain individuals believe their actions are acceptable.
Children who engage in this social sin may suffer grave consequences, including a sense of helplessness and isolation.
Jessica Gagen, who was born in Lancashire, England, was distinctive even as a small child.
She expected to be applauded for standing out because of her vivid red hair, but got the opposite response.
Whatever our outward appearances, we are all unique and worthy of love and support. However, Jessica’s experience was rather different.
She experienced so much bullying and taunting that it caused her to cry and run home from school.
Jessica heard she was ugly almost every day.
Her peers even spat on her and attempted to ignite her hair on fire with a lighter because they thought she had “ginger hair.”
She was often taunted and mocked for her bizarre appearance.
“I was name-called on the daily, and although I don’t think the kids were being malicious in doing, so there were definitely times they were. I was hit, spat at and had things thrown at my head quite a few times, but worst was when a girl burned me for having ginger hair,” Jessica told The Mirror. Other incidents I had included being slapped, spat at, and having things hurled at my head.
Jessica resorted to eating her lunch in the bathroom during seventh grade after making vain attempts to sit with other girls in the cafeteria.
Although Jessica did not feel attractive, she was confident that she would prevail in the end.
Jessica adds, “I used to get really upset about it all, but I’m determined to show kids who are facing the same thing that it won’t happen forever.”
Over a number of years, Jessica developed into a stunning young woman.
She then made the decision to take significant action to support other students who have experienced or are currently facing bullying at school.
She didn’t let the criticism and rejection to stop her; instead, she used them as motivation.
She decided to seek a profession based only on her appearance and applied to a modeling agency.
She started her modeling career at age 18 and was praised for the unique appearance she gave the business.
She has not only had extraordinary success, but she has also emerged as a role model for young people who have been told they will never be successful.
The ultimate retribution was recently exacted by Jessica.
In 2022, she became the first woman with red hair to be crowned “Miss England.”
Jessica was naturally overjoyed to win after coming in second place for Miss England 2021.
“I looked back and I was thinking there are not that many redheads on TV. I thought if I could win this, I could empower kids who being bullied for the way that they look and the color of their hair,” she says.
Currently, Jessica Gagen is using her notoriety to promote acceptance of individuality and the equality of all people.
This beautiful young woman has been the target of cruel remarks and actions, but they have backfired, and now she shines brilliantly while her abusers are likely hiding in humiliation somewhere.
Jessica is a role model for us all.
