Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager have shocked fans with their latest announcement.
On November 27, the co-hosting pair revealed that they are taking a stab at being singers! Yes, you read that correctly, Hoda and Jenna are the latest famous pair to record a Christmas song.
According to Today, the song is titled A Carefree Christmas with Hoda and Jenna and we honestly don’t know what to expect. However, they did admit that they took singing lessons to prepare for their musical debut.
“The star of the show is not pictured here,” Hoda claimed while revealing the cover art for their new song. “Cheryl is the star of the show,” Jenna added.
“Cheryl is a person who can teach anyone to sing,” Hoda continued. “She has her own technique. She’s amazing. She is like joy personified. She ran us through the paces, had us try to learn.”
Hoda and Jenna had a bit of fun using secret code to talk with each other during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
If you watched the parade, then you likely saw the legendary broadcaster attempting to slyly make sure nothing was on her teeth, and people admitted they “audibly gasped” when they took notice. “Did she know she was on air,” my mom asked when she saw it.

But what many people didn’t realize is that Kotb wasn’t cleaning her teeth in an emergency, but rather cashing in on a bet she and co-host Jenna Bush Hager made before the parade started.
Hager took to Instagram shortly after Kotb made her “secret sign” to shout out her co-worker and friend. ‘What a true one @hodakotb! Her secret sign,” Hager wrote.
Those who watch the third hour of the Today Show however weren’t surprised at all by Kotb’s actions. Many of the commenters wrote that they were waiting for Kotb to give Jenna her sign.
