After the 2022 Oscars, Lady Gaga and Liza Minnelli have received equal attention as Will Smith and Chris Rock, who have garnered the majority of the conversation.
Gaga has drawn acclaim for her interactions and response to the iconic actress, Minnelli, with whom she co-presented the evening’s last prize.
Lady Gaga is such a special one.
The way she's gently handling Liza (and Tony Bennett so many times before) shows you her heart. #TheOscars

Gaga and Minnelli made an appearance on stage to present the night’s last award at the conclusion of the show. Gaga stood aside to let the 76-year-old woman space to shine while the audience cheered for the couple.
Are you able to view that? The public, they adore you, Gaga declared, reaching over to take the celebrity’s hand.
The actress and singer-songwriter also paid tribute to Minnelli by declaring that she was commemorating Cabaret’s 50th anniversary. For the 1972 movie, Minnelli was awarded Best Actress in a Leading Role.

Then Minnelli started introducing the Best Film nominees while holding cue cards in her hand. For a split second, she stammered when speaking, then Gaga took over right away.
Gaga leaned over to Minnelli before the nominees’ video clips aired and hushed, “I got you.”
“I know, thank you,” was Minnelli’s remark, which was also captured by their mics.
Minnelli said to Gaga, “I’m so happy to be here, especially with you – I’m your biggest fan,” as they presented CODA as the night’s winner.
Online users responded quickly to the stars’ touching moment.
The class, kindness and glowing #respect Lady Gaga showed toward Liza Minnelli made up for a lot about this nutty evening, and I promise you I will have a soft spot for Gaga for the rest of my life.

Many also compared Gaga’s treatment of Minnelli to the singer’s relationship with Tony Bennett.
In my opinion this was the best part of the Oscars. This is a great example of how we need to treat our elders.
Please share this heartwarming moment.
