Having graced the cover of Sports Illustrated’s 2023 Swimsuit Issue, the 81-year-old lifestyle guru expanded her portfolio to include a position as a “swimsuit model.” In addition to being honored in general, Stewart became the oldest-ever SI cover model. As Martha demonstrated, it is possible to look stunning even in your 80s. Let’s hope this sets the standard for other senior women.
Martha was quite surprised by this honor.
Martha Stewart, Megan Fox, Kim Petras, and Brooks Nader were chosen as SI’s four cover models. Not only is the food icon the oldest of the four, but she is also the oldest woman to have ever been on the cover of the Swimsuit Issue.
Martha expressed her excitement about the chance and her initial thought, “Well, that’s pretty good.” I believe I will be the oldest person to ever appear on a Sports Illustrated cover. I don’t give aging much concern, but I felt that since this was a momentous occasion, I had to look my best.
Her main goal was to inspire women her age.

The 81-year-old celebrity gave more details about her decision to take part in the picture. She wrote on Instagram that she did it to demonstrate to her followers that it’s never too late to follow her dreams and have fun: Whatever stage of life you are in, I hope this cover encourages you to push yourself to do new things. Being courageous, adapting, and changing are all excellent traits, in fact.
She’s been preparing for this her entire life.

Stewart said that she didn’t need to drastically alter her lifestyle when asked how she got ready for the photo session, saying, “I live a clean life anyway — good diet, good exercise and healthy skin care and all that.” Prior to the photo session, she skipped bread and spaghetti and engaged in a little more physical activity.
Ultimately, Martha felt energized by her ability to comfortably pose for Swimsuit Illustrated, which further demonstrated to her that she’s doing everything correctly and maintaining her good physical condition: It is evidence of successful living in my opinion, and I believe that rather than worrying about growing older, we should all focus on leading fulfilling lives. The process of becoming older is really dull.
We recently discovered, much to our surprise, that Martha Stewart, despite being a complete knockout, is still unmarried. She stated that she has quite high criteria for a partner—as she should—and that there are two things about males that she always looks out for.
