Parents are the ones who make decisions for their children up until a particular age. The reality is that those choices may not always be seen appropriate by society or the individuals in your immediate vicinity.
These days, parents are ready to share pictures and videos of their kids on social media. Some even run social media sites where they keep fans updated on their little ones’ life.
At just 4 months old, Lara has already become rather popular on the social media site TikTok.
Many adore the many pictures and videos of Lara that her mother posts. Though there is disagreement about a recent image that was meant to demonstrate how much Lara has matured since day one, it has drawn negative criticism.
Specifically, a feature in a picture that Lara’s mother shared of the child on her birth day caught everyone’s attention. She was only 24 hours old when her small ears were pierced, which infuriated and alarmed a lot of people.
Naturally, some people supported Lara’s mother and claimed that this is common in various cultures, while others said that it was inappropriate to pierce a one-day-old baby’s ears and that the mother ought to have waited until the child was old enough to make that decision on her own.
“I’m just not getting it,” It hurts exactly as it does when they get older! Don’t fool yourself,” someone commented. “Is it up to them to decide whether or not they want their ears pierced? Another said, “I’m going to let my babies decide when they understand these things.”
After reading every comment, Lara’s mother made the decision to talk about getting her daughter’s ears pierced.
