Update: 10/25/23: 11:00 p.m.: Police have identified and are still hunting for a suspect in the Lewiston, Maine, mass shooting.
Police are currently seeking a man named Robert Card, according to sources. According to the New York Post, Card is 40 years old and “reportedly a trained firearms instructor believed to be in the Army Reserve.”
According to reports, Card has a history of mental health concerns and was treated in a mental health facility in August when he allegedly began hearing voices. He allegedly threatened to shoot people in the past.
According to a police post, Card is a “person of interest in the mass shooting at Schemengees Bar and Sparetime Recreation this evening.” “CARD should be considered armed and dangerous. Please contact law enforcement if you are aware of his whereabouts.”
New reports are now claiming that at least 22 people are dead after the gunman opened fire at multiple locations in Lewiston, Maine.
According to law enforcement authorities, between 50 and 60 persons have been hurt. According to CNN, the man suspected of carrying out the mass shooting is still at large.
