The UK’s most vulnerable animals are receiving assistance from the volunteers of Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue.
However, they got a very concerning call one day.
Recently, Cleethorpe Wildlife Rescue received a lot of calls from worried people who saw a defenseless animal laying face down in a muddy ditch.
The organization quickly sent a team of water rescuers to the scene after realizing the urgency.

They arrived after traveling for twenty minutes. Furthermore, every second matters when you’re stuck in mud for twenty minutes. Nevertheless, the group found the “animal” rather quickly. In this instance, it turned out to be a statue that resembled a dog that was apparently stuck in the mossy, water-filled ditch.
But at that point, the narrative changed drastically. After a more thorough examination, the skilled rescuers discovered the “dog” didn’t require any assistance at all. It wasn’t even a genuine dog, in fact.
The rescue group provided a comprehensive explanation on Facebook.
The rescue described the discovery in a Facebook post, saying, “It was a statue!” “A statue that had previously been saved by a staff member on site!”

How nice it is! Even though Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue had spent time and energy handling the situation seriously, they were nevertheless happy that concerned residents had been in touch.
A spokesman told The Dodo, “It’s always a relief when there’s not an injured animal to tend to.”
They had acted with care, after all, and it’s always preferable to sound the alarm rather than to go by. It was only a dummy dog in this case, but it could be more serious the next time.

”The little dog is now safe and sound outside our office, if anyone wants to claim the statue then please pop into reception and we will happily re-unite!
Though unfortunately it did get a little damaged in the process!,” Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue writes on Facebook.
Thank you to Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue for your swift response and everything you do for vulnerable animals—even if in this particular case, it turned out to be a false alarm!
