Samuel Forest’s wife, of Armenian descent, elected to have a normally developing baby boy who doctors later said had Down Syndrome.
When the woman got the news, she called her husband and informed him she was going to leave her child in the hospital. Furthermore, she told him that she would have to choose between her and the baby because she did not want to have anything to do with the newborn baby.
Shortly after making the choice and deciding to keep the son, Samuel Forrest also received the divorce papers. Now he is a single father raising his sick son.
