In his life, Brad Soden has faced several challenges.
In addition to participating in the first Iraq War, the US hero later saved numerous lives as a firefighter.
Brad, Liz, and their three children reside in Phoenix, Arizona.
Brad spent a long time living the dream. But everything changed on August 15, 1999, the day of the accident.
The children of Brad and Liz were in the truck. When the front left tire went flat, Liz was operating the steering wheel. She lost control of it and ran off the road.
This is fantastic news for the couple’s three boys who only sustained minor bruising. Brad suffered slightly more severe injuries, breaking his leg. However, Liz was in a bad situation because she had broken her back and was unable to move below the waist.
Liz needed immediate hospitalization for surgery. The physicians explained what was wrong to her when she awoke.
Liz thought her life had ended. She was dating Brad at the time and believed he would dump her for a “normal woman.”
Who said what Brad? Right there in the hospital, he dropped down on one knee and proposed to her.
Naturally, Liz answered “yes,” and shortly after that, they were married.
Her family supported her throughout the entire recovery process, which took a long time.
Despite being a strong woman, Liz found it challenging to adjust to life in a wheelchair. more so now that hiking is a household favorite activity.
After the accident, Liz attempted to continue on, but she soon realized that her wheelchair would never allow her to navigate the challenging routes she loved.
Liz had to remain on the flat road while the rest of the family followed a moose trail.
While sobbing, she instructed her family to continue. Brad promised never to let it happen again after seeing the picture, which really saddened him.
Brad was an army repair man who was in charge of maintaining and cleaning tanks.
He made Liz a unique wheelchair that could travel off-road as part of his business so that she could travel anywhere the family went.
It wasn’t as simple as it seemed, though.
Brad spent days upon days working in the garage. Some days he didn’t get outside much, and he occasionally lost his temper.
Liz and the locals grew accustomed to the obnoxious noise coming from the garage.
Brad’s inquiry? to create a quiet electric engine that may be used at campsites and in the woods.
After several hours of searching, Brad had finally discovered the solution. He invited Liz over to the garage and presented her with a unique wheelchair that had tank treads.
Brad’s creation did attract attention. Among those who favored the all-terrain scooter were the CEOs of the high-tech business NPC Robotics.
The business assisted Brad and produced a prototype using the model he provided. Modern engineering was used to create Liz’s new wheelchair, which is swift, quiet, and capable of traveling off-road.
These days, Brad, the kids, and Liz are challenging to keep up with when the family goes for a stroll.
What a fantastic concept! Brad has demonstrated to Liz not only how much he cares for her but also how intelligent and motivated he is to succeed.
What a wonderful method to support those that matter to you! If your family member falls, assist them in getting back up.
