There are few things that might separate a dog lover from their beloved pets. Whether you like it or not, adopted pets—big or small—quickly become members of the family.
Liz Haslam had numerous dogs, and she had a strong attachment to each one. Using half an acre of ground for the boarding kennel business adjacent to the two-bedroom farmhouse in Barnham, Suffolk that she shared with her husband Mike, Liz performed fantastic work saving bull terriers. The dogs themselves frequently had behavioral issues or were abandoned. Her organization, Beds for Bullies, has the capacity to accommodate thirty bull terriers at a time.

Liz can actually spend up to eighteen hours a day caring for all those dogs—walking them, giving them love, and shelling out hundreds of dollars for their medicine and any necessary treatments—because they all need so much love and care.
According to Express, Mike gave his wife a choice: either he and the dogs, as he became frustrated with the peculiar circumstances. It took them 25 years of marriage and a 22-year-old son to convince him to spend time with her and the dogs.
Liz made a decision based only on the dogs. She was unable to give up the things that brought her joy or helped the animals in need of her assistance. Who would look after them if she didn’t?

When she was sixteen, the two met and fell in love. When they tied the knot in January 1991, Liz undoubtedly believed she was being married to her soulmate. She could never have imagined that this is what would happen.
