After Kelly Preston died in 2020, John Travolta refused to betray the memory of his beloved wife by falling in love with someone new.

But now, friends say that the Pulp Fictionstar, who’s rocking life as a single father of two, may finally be ready to add to the pages of his love story with another woman.

Hollywood legend John Travolta, 69, has been single since his wife, Kelly Preston, 57, died of cancer in 2020.

The two, who shared three children, were remarkably candid about their love, and since her loss, the shadow of her absence has been profound on Travolta, who continues to voice his enduring grief on social media

Only 11 years before Preston died, The Hairspray star was drowning in heartache when Jett, the firstborn child he shared with Preston, died at only 16 in 2009.

Vow of celibacy

After he lost his wife, sources close to the star of Grease claim that he initially swore off dating, saying that a future relationship would “be a betrayal of Preston’s memory.”

“John still considers himself married and says he will stay loyal to Kelly until the day he dies. It’s hands off when it comes to dating. It’s sad, but he’s essentially taken a vow of celibacy for the rest of his life.” The friend continues, “He talks about Kelly constantly. Their lives were so intertwined, it’s very hard for him to go on.”

Looking for love
But recently, rumors have been swirling that the Saturday Night Fever star is ready to find love again.

According to a report by Radar Online, the man who wowed audiences with his mad dance moves, is again on the “prowl.”

“John just needed to feel ready, and now he is,” claims the source. “He knows Kelly wouldn’t want him to spend the rest of his life alone, so he’s finally allowing friends to line him up with dates.”

“He’s not asking for much, just that she be kind, warm, gracious, funny, and spontaneous,” the insider said. “And being attractive wouldn’t hurt.”
